How does Ozone Gel work?
In the inactivation of bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeast and protozoa, ozone disrupts the integrity of the bacterial cell envelope through oxidation of the phospholipids and lipoproteins. In fungi, ozone inhibits cell growth at certain stages. With viruses, the ozone damages the viral capsid and disrupts the virus-to-cell contact with peroxidation. The weak enzyme coatings on cells which make them vulnerable to invasion by viruses make them susceptible to oxidation and subsequent elimination from the body.
Dortor's report that the ozonated oil speeds the healing process, improves blood flow, alleviates pain, and reduces inflammation: it has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal properties, and heals cell tissues among other things. Oxygen species are absorbed through the pores of the skin which enters the circulatory system and enriches the blood.

There are no side effects and it is therefore a highly effective, natural alternative to cortisone. How is Ozone Gel made?
Aquazone's custom made Ozone Gel is made by using an Aquazone Ozone Generator to bubble medical grade ozone (medical oxygen as a source) very slowly through high quality olive oil for around 3 weeks until it is ready for bottling. The olive oil becomes a paste or salve holding the ozone in suspension without the olive oil being oxidized. This gel we call OZONE GEL and it is highly effective on a wide range of skin complaints.
Olive oil has been used for centuries to restore a youthful suppleness to the skin. The Greeks used it to clean their bodies. In lieu of soap, at the baths, olive oil was applied to the body then scraped off with special tools. What is ozone gel used for?
Acne: Wash face and apply Ozone Gel twice daily. Ozone Gel helps improve the circulation to the skin and helps detoxify the skin as well as prevent blemishes.
Animals: It can be applied directly to cuts and incisions or fed to them.
Asthma, bronchitis & pneumonia: Ozone Gel is safe to breathe. This is an excellent therapy for asthma, bronchitis and pneumonia.
Athlete's Foot: Apply Ozone Gel to clean, dry feet 2 to 3 times daily. Ozone Gel has strong antifungal properties.
Bruises: Apply Ozone Gel to bruised area. It helps reduce inflammation, heal cellular tissues and speed the healing process.
Chapped Lips: Apply Ozone Gel directly to lips to encourage rapid healing.
Cradle Cap: Mix ½ teaspoon Ozone Gel with a small amount of nontoxic shampoo and leave on scalp for 5 to 10 minutes.
Cuts, Wounds, Bed Sores: Ozone Gel is a first-aid remedy for all types of skin abrasions or wounds due to its excellent antiseptic and wound-healing properties. It is so gentle that it does not sting. Ozone Gel acts as mild anaesthetic and encourages a rich flow of blood to the damaged area. Apply twice daily.
Dandruff and Other Scalp Conditions: Wash hair, then apply Ozone Gel directly to scalp. Massage thoroughly into scalp. Wrap hair in warm towel and leave on for one hour if possible.
Deodorant Use: Massage a small dab of ozone gel under each entire armpit area daily. This is one of the most effective, nontoxic deodorants we have ever used, especially for those with strong odor problems
Dermatitis/Eczema: Apply to affected skin areas twice daily. For a lipodermic bath, add 1 teaspoon of Ozone Gel to tub water to help heal and soothe skin.
Diaper Rash: Apply directly to affected rash areas. It helps stop pain and inflammation and promotes healing. Apply 2 to 3 times per day until healed. Add a few drops of Ozone Gel to every baby's bath.
Ear Ache: Massage Ozone Gel around the painful area to help relieve pain. Place some gel a small cotton ball and insert gently into the outer ear. Leave in place for one hour.
Flea Bites (For cats and dogs): Helps relieve severe skin irritation; takes away redness; heals skin. Wipe the animal's coat with a moist sponge sprinkled with 10 to 20 drops of Ozone Gel. Also mix a small amount in food for a shinier, brighter coat.
Headache: Massage a few drops of Ozone Gel into the affected area (such as the temples, forehead or base of the skull) to encourage freer blood flow and less congestion.
Haemorrhoids and Fissures: Apply Ozone Gel to the anal area to help relieve itching, pain and irritation. Apply 2 to 3 times per day until healed.
Liver Detoxification: Ozone Gel may be massaged over the liver area on the right side underneath rib cage to promote and assist detoxification. A half teaspoon can be consumed one to four times a day. When used internally, Ozone Gel has beneficial effects; it will detoxify the liver and hasten the healing of affected conditions. Storage:
Ozonated gel is extremely stable if refrigerated. It keeps almost its full efficiency for many months. Even at room temperature, once opened, it retains its effectiveness for several months. For best effect, refrigerate between uses.
